เมื่อวันที่ 7 พฤษภาคม 2568 ที่ผ่านมา สถาบันสันติศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ โดย อาจารย์ธรรมศาสตร์ โสตถิพันธุ์ รองผู้อำนวยการสถาบันสันติศึกษา และ ดร.รุสตั้ม หวันสู อาจารย์ประจำสถาบันสันติศึกษา ให้การต้อนรับ คุณ Miriam Otto ผู้ช่วยเอกอัครราชทูตฝ่ายการเมืองและเศรษฐกิจ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตเนเธอร์แลนด์ประจำประเทศไทย และ คุณชญานุช ธนานาถ เจ้าหน้าที่อาวุโสฝ่ายการเมือง ณ ห้องประชุมสันติธรรม สถาบันสันติศึกษา

ในโอกาสนี้ รองผู้อำนวยการได้กล่าวแนะนำพันธกิจและรายงานผลการดำเนินงานของสถาบันสันติศึกษาในช่วงปีที่ผ่านมา พร้อมทั้งพูดคุยแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ความรุนแรงและความซับซ้อนของบริบทที่เป็นปัญหาต่อการสร้างสันติภาพในพื้นที่สามจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ รวมทั้งหารือถึงแนวทางความร่วมมือทางวิชาการในอนาคตร่วมกับสถาบันการศึกษาในประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์

Institute for Peace Studies, PSU, Welcomes Delegates from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Thailand.

On May 7, 2025, at the Institute for Peace Studies (IPS), Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Ms. Thammasat Sotthibhandhu, Deputy Director of IPS, accompanied by Dr. Roostam Vansu had the honor of welcoming Ms. Miriam Otto, Deputy Ambassador for Political and Economic Affairs of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Thailand, and Ms. Chayanuch Thananart, Senior Political Officer.

On this occasion, the Deputy Director introduced the mission of the Institute for Peace Studies and reported on its key activities over the past year. The discussion also included an exchange of perspectives on the ongoing violence and the complex context that continues to challenge peacebuilding efforts in the southern border provinces of Thailand. Furthermore, both parties explored the potential for future academic collaboration with educational institutions in the Netherlands.
