สถาบันสันติศึกษาต้อนรับกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู รัฐกลันตัน ประเทศมาเลเซีย

เมื่อวันที่ 19 กันยายน 2568 ที่ผ่านมา ผศ. ดร.กุสุมา กูใหญ่ ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันสันติศึกษา พร้อมด้วย ผศ. ดร.ศรีสมภพ จิตร์ภิรมย์ศรี ให้การต้อนรับคุณภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู รัฐกลันตัน ประเทศมาเลเซีย ในโอกาสเยือนสถาบันสันติศึกษา ณ ห้องประชุมสันติธรรม อาคารสถาบันสันติศึกษา

การพบปะครั้งนี้เป็นการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับประเด็นความขัดแย้งในหลากหลายมิติ ทั้งการพัฒนาด้านเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และกระบวนการพูดคุยสันติภาพจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ ตลอดจนเป็นการกระชับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างหน่วยงานเพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางวิชาการในอนาคต

ในโอกาสนี้ ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันสันติศึกษา ยังได้มอบรายงานผลการสำรวจความคิดเห็นของประชาชนต่อกระบวนการสันติภาพจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ ครั้งที่ 7 และข้อเสนอเชิงนโยบาย (Peace Survey 7) แก่ท่านกงสุลใหญ่เพื่อเป็นประโยชน์ในการดำเนินงานอีกด้วย

19 September 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kusuma Kooyai, Director of the Institute for Peace Studies (IPS), together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Srisompob Jitpiromsri, welcomed Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul General of Thailand in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia, on his visit to the Institute for Peace Studies, Prince of Songkla University.

The meeting provided an opportunity for an exchange of perspectives on various dimensions of conflict, including economic, social, and peace dialogue process, particularly in the context of Thailand’s southern border provinces. The meeting also served to strengthen relations between IPS and Royal Thai Consulate-General, Kota Bharu to promote future academic cooperation.

On this occasion, the Director also presented the report of the 7th Public Opinion Survey on the Peace Process in the Southern Border Provinces of Thailand (Peace Survey 7) to the Consul General for his reference and use in future work.
