เมื่อวันที่ 8 พฤษภาคม 2568 ที่ผ่านมา ณ ห้องบรรยาย IPS301 สถาบันสันติศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ อาจารย์ธรรมศาสตร์ โสตถิพันธุ์ รองผู้อำนวยการสถาบันสันติศึกษา ให้การต้อนรับคณะนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีจากหลากหลายสาขาวิชาจำนวน 35 คน จาก Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) ประเทศมาเลเซีย เพื่อศึกษาดูงานภายใต้โครงการ "Dacross: Dialogue Across Borders – Discovering Asia through Education" จัดโดย Harun Aminurrashid Residential College Student Council, UPSI
กิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ประกอบด้วยการแนะนำมหาวิทยาลัยและหน่วยงานของทั้งสองสถานศึกษา พร้อมทั้งเปิดเวทีให้นักศึกษาจาก UPSI ได้แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นกับตัวแทนองค์กรนักศึกษาจากมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ว่าด้วยเรื่องระบบการศึกษาของทั้งสองประเทศ รวมถึงบริบททางสังคม ความหลากหลายทางเชื้อชาติ ศาสนา และภาษา ที่อาจส่งผลต่อการเรียนรู้ของนักเรียนในระดับก่อนอุดมศึกษา นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการแลกเปลี่ยนเกี่ยวกับการจัดการเรียนการสอนและชีวิตนักศึกษาในมหาวิทยาลัย ซึ่งช่วยเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจร่วมกันระหว่างนักศึกษาทั้งสองมหาวิทยาลัยในมิติด้านวัฒนธรรม การศึกษา และสังคม
ในโอกาสนี้ สถาบันสันติศึกษา ขอขอบคุณ กองพัฒนานักศึกษาและศิษย์เก่าสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ ที่ให้การสนับสนุนและเชิญชวนตัวแทนจากองค์กรนักศึกษาเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ด้วยความอนุเคราะห์อย่างดียิ่ง

Institute for Peace Studies, Prince of Songkla University, Welcomed Students from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia

On 8 May 2025, Ms. Thammasat Sotthibandhu, Deputy Director of the Institute for Peace Studies, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), welcomed a delegation of 35 undergraduate students from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia, for a study visit under the program "Dacross: Dialogue Across Borders – Discovering Asia through Education" organized by Harun Aminurrashid Residential College Student Council, UPSI.
The session included presentations introducing both universities, followed by an engaging dialogue between UPSI students and student representatives from PSU. Discussions covered a wide range of topics including educational systems in both countries, as well as the social contexts and complexities related to ethnicity, religion, and language that may influence student learning experiences prior to entering higher education. In addition, students exchanged ideas about academic structures, teaching methods, and campus life at both universities, fostering mutual understanding in areas of culture, education, and community.
IPS would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere appreciation to the Student Development and Alumni Affairs Division of PSU for their kind support in coordinating and inviting student representatives to join this meaningful activity.
